Condom use in deaf young people from Mexico City: what they know and how they use it

Background: In studies carried out with young people without hearing impairment, the problem of considering report condom use as a preventive behavior is evidenced, since this by itself not an indicator its correct use. Objective: To evaluate level knowledge that deaf have about how to condom, frequency which they it and mistakes make when using it, well exploring relationship between these variables differences depending on sex participants. Method: The Computerized Questionnaire Sexual Health for Young Mexicans Hearing Disabilities was used evaluate, in sample 57 Mexican (32 men 25 women average age 20.02 years), their sexual behavior, condoms during sex.
